What Is Peer Review?
Peer review is an independent evaluation of a CPA firm's accounting and auditing practice. The AICPA Peer Review Program requires enrolled firms to have their practices reviewed every three years by an independent CPA. The review assesses whether the firm's quality control system is designed appropriately and operating effectively.
